Riley came up to us about a week before the party and exclaimed "I want to get Sammy a present!" It was so sweet and thoughtful so we did. We went out and she picked something just for Sam all by herself. (Good choice too, a s

About a week before Sam's party, Riley came and told us that she wanted to buy Sammy a birthday present. With a request so simple and loving we couldn't refuse. So Riley picked out Sam's gift all by herself! (pretty good too. A set of airplanes) Sam loved him. I told him they were from Riley and then they hugged! So sweet!

Apparently, the guy table now :)

Sam was mesmorized by the flames...

Either that, or he was very thoughtful about what his wish would be.

Sam LOVED the cup cakes!

The Birthday Boy!

I can't believe that my Sammy boy is two years old! I was thinking back to his first birthday and about how much he has grown and changed.
We had a fabulous 2nd birthday party this past Saturday. We had a Dr. Seuss- Sam I am party. We had helium filled balloons, green eggs and ham, pink ink, cheese trees, red fish, blue fish, and so much more! The whole day was great. I just love getting to spend time with the people who I love most.
Sam, at two years old you are ALL BOY! You are either happy or sad, there really isn't any in between. You love to play with planes, cars, and trains and any type of ball. I wonder if you will love to play sports? You love to eat and you enjoy helping me with whatever I am doing. I think it is because you just want to be with me. You are a momma's boy but you really look forward to your "boy" time with daddy. (and so do I. Riley and I don't much care for the wrestling :) You are more and more like your daddy each day. You are almost exactly what I imagine Ryne being like as a baby. The funny thing is, daddy says the exact same thing!
We love you so much and look forward to many more years with you Sam Man!
Thank you to everyone who could come and celebrate Sam's life with us. We missed those of you who couldn't come!
